Roambook keeps each trip, photo, note, and saved place in one private record on your device. There is no Studio AM data server; backups and exports leave only when you choose where to save or share them. Optional place search uses Apple Maps, and an external web search opens only when you explicitly tap it.

Entries for places, stays, food, activities and notes group day by day, each with an optional photo, link and map pin; pinned entries appear numbered in travel order on a full-screen route map that draws straight lines between stops, not turn-by-turn directions. Marking a plan done turns it into a logged journal entry. On a supported Apple Intelligence device running iOS 26 it turns a spoken or typed day into journal drafts you review, sketches a day-by-day skeleton across your dates, and answers questions from that trip's journal alone, declining rather than guessing.
