A transparent conversion, not a price forecast.

  1. Convert the entered unit to milligrams and round to the nearest milligram.
  2. Divide by 31,103.4768 milligrams per troy ounce.
  3. Multiply that troy-ounce amount by the USD price you entered.

Unit constants: 1 grain = 64.79891 mg; 1 gram = 1,000 mg; 1 pennyweight = 1,555.17384 mg; 1 troy ounce = 31,103.4768 mg.
