Daily Vibe is a private mood journal. Type or speak an entry, make a one-tap mood check-in, and review your mood, energy, themes, and streaks over time. Its reflections and Ask Your Trends feature use only your own journal. Daily Vibe does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice.

Daily Vibe requires iOS or iPadOS 26 and active access for fresh use. Core journaling, check-ins, and model-free trend calculations do not require an AI model. AI features use Apple Intelligence when it is available and ready, or an optional one-time local-model download of about 0.9–2.6 GB. Devices with less than 3.5 GB of RAM cannot run the AI features.

Follow the setup offered during onboarding, or open Settings and find AI Engine. If Apple Intelligence is available but turned off, enable it in Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri. Otherwise, Daily Vibe offers an enhanced model (about 2.6 GB) or lite model (about 0.9 GB) based on your device. Keep the device on Wi-Fi with enough free storage while it downloads.

Your journal and all AI processing stay on-device by default. Optional private iCloud sync is off by default; when you enable it, your journal syncs through your own private iCloud database, which Studio AM cannot read. There are no Studio AM accounts, ads, tracking, or third-party analytics. Network access may be used for App Store purchases, a model download, private iCloud sync, and links or web searches you explicitly open.

The model selects relevant exact excerpts from your own entries for weekly reflections and qualitative Ask results; the app checks that every displayed excerpt appears in the source journal. Numeric trends are calculated in code. Daily Vibe may decline when there is too little data or an answer cannot be grounded. Relevance can still be imperfect, so treat the result as a reflection prompt, not a fact or medical advice, and check it against your original entries.

You can schedule a repeating daily check-in reminder and reply from the notification with a short entry or a mood. An optional streak reminder can nudge you when a streak is at risk. These are local notifications. Daily Vibe does not turn phrases in journal entries into task reminders.

The compose-bar microphone dictates text on-device and keeps no audio. A spoken entry saves its recording on this device and transcribes it on-device. With active access, word-synced read-along highlights the transcript during playback; ordinary playback of saved audio remains available after access ends. Recordings are never uploaded or included in iCloud sync. Siri and Shortcuts can log a mood, write or dictate an entry, read today’s prompt, report a seven-day mood trend, or open Ask Your Trends.

Yes. Create and rename multiple journals, then choose where each entry belongs. Deleting a journal moves its entries back to the built-in Journal instead of deleting the entries.

App Lock asks iOS to authenticate with your device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID; Daily Vibe receives only the success or failure result. Private iCloud sync is a separate, off-by-default option for journal text in your private CloudKit database. Studio AM cannot read it, and recordings never sync.

Yes. Settings can export an Obsidian-friendly Markdown copy or a portable JSON package containing every persisted journal and entry field, pinned questions, spoken-entry metadata, and copies of recordings stored on that device. Audio never syncs, so export a recording from the device that made it. The app creates the export only when you tap and hands it to Apple’s share sheet; Daily Vibe does not upload it or provide an in-app JSON restore tool.

Daily Vibe has no free feature tier. Eligible new subscribers can try it for 3 days, then choose $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year; Apple shows localized prices and eligibility. An active subscription covers all new entries, recordings, check-ins, analysis, trends, reflections, widgets, and shortcuts. After access ends, saved entries and recordings remain readable, searchable, playable, exportable, and deletable. A retired lifetime unlock is not for sale, but earlier purchasers can restore it.

Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. Monthly, annual, and earlier retired-lifetime ownership are tied to the Apple Account used for the purchase, so use the same account on a compatible device. If access still does not appear, check your connection and email us.
