Privacy Policy

Privacy first: Your puzzles, review history, settings, and progress stay on your device. Word Puzzle has no account, advertising, or gameplay analytics. Apple and RevenueCat process the limited purchase information needed to offer and restore the optional Pro unlock.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Personal information

Word Puzzle does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, account, or advertising identifier. You can use the app without signing in. RevenueCat generates a random app identifier for purchase management; it is not connected to a Word Puzzle account because the app has no account system.

1.2 Your progress

Everything the app tracks is stored locally on your device: the puzzles you solve, the words you learn, your review history, settings, and your coin balance. This data never leaves your device. You can erase it from Settings with Reset progress. Removing the app also removes its local data unless your device restores an app backup.

1.3 Analytics and advertising

We do not send puzzle activity, review answers, or gameplay usage to an analytics, advertising, tracking, or telemetry service. RevenueCat uses purchase history for entitlement functionality and purchase reporting. Word Puzzle does not use RevenueCat for advertising or cross-app tracking.

2. Network use

The word library ships with the app, so core puzzles, definitions, review, and local progress work offline. The app connects to Apple and RevenueCat to load the Pro offer, verify entitlement status, make a purchase, or restore a purchase. Opening a support, privacy, or App Store link also uses your browser. Optional streak reminders are scheduled locally only after you enable them. A connection failure does not prevent use of already available puzzles and review content.

3. Purchases

Word Puzzle Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat validates the transaction and keeps the Pro entitlement in sync. RevenueCat may process a random anonymous app identifier, product and entitlement status, Apple receipt or transaction information, last-seen time, and limited app/device technical information needed to operate that service. Studio AM and RevenueCat do not receive your App Store payment details. We do not send RevenueCat your name or email, and we do not use a custom user ID. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

4. Children's privacy

Word Puzzle is family-friendly and does not ask children or adults to provide personal information. There are no accounts, ads, public profiles, chat, or user-submitted content. Purchase processing is limited to the service described above.

5. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change ships.
