Privacy Policy

Privacy first: Your signal logs and Meridian's analysis stay on your device. There is no Meridian account, behavioral or usage analytics, or advertising. Meridian connects to RevenueCat for Meridian Pro purchase validation and aggregate purchase analytics, as explained below.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Personal information

Meridian requires no account, name, or email address. You can use the app without giving Studio AM identifying information. If you use or restore Meridian Pro, RevenueCat uses an anonymous purchase identifier as described in section 3.

1.2 Health and wellbeing data

Everything you enter is stored locally on your device: the daily signals you log (such as sleep, energy, mood, focus, stress, headaches, digestion, and exercise) and your preferences. Meridian has no custom notes field. It computes statistical associations, next-day estimates, and other analysis from your data on your device. Your logs and analysis are not sent to Studio AM or RevenueCat. They leave the app only when you choose the manual export feature described below.

1.3 Analytics

Meridian does not collect your app interactions, journal activity, health signals, diagnostics, or advertising data for analytics. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase history for entitlement functionality and aggregate purchase analytics as described in section 3. It does not receive your logs or on-device analysis. Meridian contains no advertising or cross-app tracking.

2. Your data and export

Your logs live in the app's local storage on your device. With Meridian Pro, Settings → Export data (JSON) creates a JSON file and opens the system share sheet. The copy goes only to the person, app, or service you choose, whose privacy practices then apply. Meridian does not currently import or restore an exported file. Deleting Meridian and its data removes its local logs from your device.

3. Purchases

Meridian Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. Meridian connects to RevenueCat, our purchase infrastructure provider, to check and restore access. RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase identifier and purchase history. It uses that data for receipt validation, entitlement functionality, and aggregate purchase analytics. It does not receive your signal logs, on-device analysis, or exported JSON file, and the purchase data is not linked to your identity or used for tracking. Studio AM does not receive your payment details.

4. Notifications

Optional daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to or from a server to deliver them.

5. Purpose and limits

Meridian is a personal tracking tool. Its associations and estimates are informational, and an association does not show that one signal caused another. Meridian does not diagnose a condition, recommend treatment, or provide medical guidance.

6. Children's privacy

Meridian is not directed at children under 13 and does not ask users for a name, email address, or account.

7. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change ships.
