Hone Math teaches 66 mental-math skills across nine units: foundations, times tables, mental addition, mental subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, everyday math, and test-style problems (number series, remainders, last digits of powers, rates, and age puzzles). Every skill includes a named method, a short explanation, a worked example, and generated practice. The app interface and lessons are in English and Spanish.

Daily Workout is a focused set of 15 problems that takes roughly three minutes. Smart Set adapts to your practice history, Quick Play offers a flexible session, and Rush is a 60-second challenge. Make Ten, Cross-Math, and Construct are separate number puzzles.

The Mental Math Index is a rolling practice score from 0 to 1000. It combines accuracy, difficulty, and speed from your recent submitted answers and is computed locally on your device. It is a practice signal, not an exam result.

No. Hone Math is free to download, but after onboarding there is no permanent free practice tier. An active monthly or annual subscription is required to start practice. Eligible new subscribers may receive a 3-day trial. StoreKit shows the current local billed amount, eligibility, renewal period, and terms before you confirm.

Yes. The retired lifetime product is no longer sold, but verified earlier owners keep full access. On the paywall, choose Restore purchase while signed in to the same Apple Account that made the purchase.

Check that the device is online and signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase, then choose Restore purchase on the paywall. Apple must return a verified active subscription or an earlier lifetime purchase before Hone Math can unlock practice.

Yes. Choose See, export or delete your record on the paywall, or open Your data from the You tab. You can inspect every stored answer, day, streak, score, and per-skill result; export complete lossless JSON plus a readable plain-text summary; or delete the local record. Deleting the record does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Practice problems, the curriculum, progress, and the Mental Math Index work offline. A connection to Apple is required to load plans, buy or restore access, and verify subscription status. Hone Math has no Studio AM account or cloud sync.

Reminders are optional local notifications. You choose the time and can turn them off from the You tab or iOS Settings. Reminder scheduling is tied to active access, and no reminder history is sent to Studio AM.
