Privacy Policy

Privacy first: Garage Story is built so we never see your garage. There are no accounts, no servers of ours, no analytics, and no ads. Your vehicles, service history and photos stay on your device.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Personal information

We collect no personal information. Garage Story requires no account, email, or identifier of any kind. You can use the app anonymously.

1.2 Your garage

Everything you add (vehicles and RVs, service, fuel and repair logs, costs, reminders, photos and receipts) is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.

1.3 Analytics

We collect no analytics or usage data. Garage Story contains no third-party analytics SDKs, tracking, or telemetry. There is no advertising.

2. Network use

Garage Story works offline for everything in your garage. It makes network requests only to (a) download maintenance schedules and look up recalls and common-issue data for a vehicle by its year/make/model, and (b) let Apple process a purchase. These requests send vehicle reference details only, never your name, location, any personal information, or a log of your garage. Recall and common-issue data is sourced from public NHTSA records.

3. Purchases

Garage Story Pro is processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements; it receives only an anonymous, app-generated identifier and the Apple purchase receipt, never your name, email, or payment details, which we never see.

4. Children's privacy

Garage Story collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There are no accounts, no ads, and no data leaves the device.

5. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change ships.
